Research Project

My research project is to unravel the membrane proteome of the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB). To facilitate this I work on developing high throughput platforms for expression cloning. My goal is to identify the membrane proteins present at the BBB, specifically those that are unique to the BBB and may be good drug-delivery targets.
